It would appear that 3 more rare skills will be removed with Ascension, further robbing the skill system of its legacy. An inspection of character skill profiles on the test server indicates the following skills will be removed:
Black Market Trading - the last of 3 "creation only" skills that were unique to specific Race/Bloodline/Ancestory profiles of characters created early in the game's existence.
Mobile Factory Operation, and
Mobile Refinery Operation - two skills that were temporarily, mistakenly seeded but not implemented "way back when".
I regret to see these unique and differentiating skills go.
A request of CCP: Please at least extend those of us with these skills the courtesy of reimbursing skill points and ISK values for these skills without us having to ask through petition (as was the case in a previous similar incident).

I hope you're not one of the guys that paid 30-60b for it in recent months!
Interestingly, Astronautic Engineering sticks around, which, as you say, suggests that it might still have a chance of being implemented at some point. It happened with Salvage Drone Operation. Or maybe not... the three departing skills remained in the game without being implemented for a decade.

I'm encouraged to say that I may be wrong... the rare skills appear to still be in the data, just not coded for display in the new skills window.
IMHO it would be great for the game if these rare, collectible skills were retained!
